Dear Americans, vote this guy and I`ll take pride in the words: Ich bin ein Amerikaner!

I think I got it right:

Anonym hat gesagt…: Oh, no. I didn't mean that. JFK did say "ein Berliner." But my German teacher told us it was proper German to leave out the "ein" and just say "Ich bin Berliner."; 17. Juli 2007 um 21:14

In this case it kind of emphasizes it.
And of course I wanted to make the allusion to JFK. That sentence is pretty popular in German. I hope the german audience got it...But in my personal case it is even true. I learned a lot about the US from Ron Paul and I think the US has a fantastic constitution. I would love to have it too.
I think I was becoming kind of "anti-american" but Dr. Paul and the Paulites reasured me: I`m only Anti-a-bunch-of-interventionist-crooks.; 17. Juli 2007 um 21:24
